Carnival at Jiva Public School
Since last year, November 11th has been declared as National Education Day by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India to commemorate the birthday of the late Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad (Nov 11, 1888–Feb 22, 1958), an eminent educationist and the first Union Minister of Education of independent India. Azad was the key person behind the establishment of a national education system with free primary education and modern institutions of higher education. Continue reading
